Reader: “You know, my friend told me I should try yoga, but I don’t know.” Your friend is wise, Daniel-san. Yoga can help with so many things! Here’s just a partial list:
Yoga can… reduce stress, increase flexibility, improve balance, promote strength, heighten cardiovascular conditioning, lower blood pressure, reduce the condition of overweight, strengthen bones, prevent injuries, lift mood, improve immune function, increase oxygen supply to tissues, and heighten sexual functioning and fulfillment.
uh, yea, you read that last one right.

It’s followed by a free kickboxing class – so bring appropriate shoes if you want to attend both!
Yoga at ArtWalk August 12, 6:45-7:45pm. Meghan Gjone will be leading a FREE class in the loggia of The Grace Museum (walk in and past the elevators towards the courtyard – the loggia is between the courtyard and the museum – indoors).
All levels welcome! Bring your mat so that extras are available for others. You can leave your mats in the loggia while you enjoy ArtWalk, if you wish.
Ongoing Yoga Classes Downtown Yoga with McKay leads classes downtown at the Cockerell Galleries and the Center for Contemporary Arts. The architechture and art is so inspiring – it’s a beautiful setting in which to do yoga! Check out McKay’s website in the link above for her class schedule and other info.
